Warehouse Operations & Inventory Systems Specialist

This is not a traditional warehouse labor position or a purely administrative office role. The right person will be equally comfortable working on a computer troubleshooting inventory systems as they are helping in the warehouse when needed.

Primary ResponsibilitiesInventory Systems & Ecommerce Operations

One of the first projects for this role is improving the reliability of our inventory systems. The goal is to ensure inventory flows accurately between SOS Inventory, ShipStation, Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and other systems with minimal manual adjustments.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and improve SOS Inventory configuration.
• Verify ShipStation inventory synchronization.
• Verify inventory flow between Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, ShipStation, and SOS Inventory.
• Review SKU mappings, barcode mappings, warehouse locations, and inventory settings.
• Troubleshoot inventory synchronization issues.
• Help eliminate unnecessary manual inventory adjustments.
• Work with software vendors and support teams to resolve system issues.
• Perform end-to-end testing from order creation through shipment and inventory deduction.
• Help build reliable inventory workflows where orders and shipments automatically update inventory correctly across all systems.

Warehouse Operations

• Assist with receiving and inventory control.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Verify SKU, barcode, and warehouse location accuracy.
• Support production entries, inventory adjustments, and warehouse transactions.
• Help prepare Amazon FBA, Walmart WFS, TikTok FBT, Shopify, and wholesale shipments.
• Help monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment quantities for fulfillment channels.
• Assist with warehouse organization and operational improvements.
• Help improve operational efficiency and document key processes.

Purchasing & Supply Chain Support

• Assist with purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
• Follow up with vendors regarding deliveries.
• Support purchasing and inventory planning.
• Help maintain raw material and packaging inventory.

Process Improvement

• Create clear, practical warehouse SOPs.
• Document warehouse workflows.
• Help improve warehouse organization.
• Recommend process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.

This role will support a wide range of day-to-day operations as business needs evolve. In addition to inventory and warehouse systems, responsibilities may include purchasing support, production coordination, shipping, receiving, marketplace replenishment, vendor follow-up, and other operational projects needed to help the business run efficiently., This is a full-time position with significant opportunity for growth. As the company continues to expand, this role can grow into additional responsibilities based on performance and business needs.

• Are you comfortable working both at a computer and in the warehouse as part of the same role?
