Job description

As our Warranty Technician - HVAC Quality Assurance Tech, you serve as the crucial final checkpoint on new construction installations. You inspect, test, and optimize HVAC systems to ensure they surpass company standards, code requirements, and manufacturer specifications. You identify and correct installation deficiencies with precision, verify system performance, including airflow and operation, and ensure each home is delivered with a top-notch, customer-ready HVAC experience. Your strong diagnostic skills and commitment to excellence in workmanship thrive as you collaborate closely with installers, supervisors, and builders to deliver the best for homeowners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (experience may be substituted)
  • HVAC installation experience, with residential HVAC experience being preferred)
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and airflow principles
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills (tablets, laptops, documentation systems)
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel between job sites, work overtime, and the occasional weekend
  • Ability to work at heights, on a ladder, wear PPE, and lift/move 50 lbs.

Ideally, you also possess:

  • HVAC trade school certification (experience may be substituted)
  • 2+ years of residential HVAC installation or service experience
  • EPA Certification (can be obtained during employment)
  • Experience with system start-up, commissioning, or quality control processes
