Requirements
- Strong experience with IBM i / AS400 / iSeries environments
- RPG IV, RPGLE, Free-Format RPG, and ILE RPG
- Working knowledge of older/fixed-format RPG
- Strong CL programming experience
- DDS - Physical Files, Logical Files, Display Files, and Printer Files
- DB2 for i / DB2/400
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, job logs, dumps, and data issue resolution
- AS/400 operational administration, including job/queue monitoring, subsystem management, backups, and print/output management
- Basic Linux OS knowledge
- Experience with or knowledge of Infinium
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
The role will involve maintaining and modernizing legacy IBM i applications running on the Infinite i platform, along with developing and maintaining RPG/CL applications and supporting business-critical systems.
Experience with IBM i-to-Linux modernization, rehosting platforms, or Embedded SQL RPG would be a plus. Direct Infinite i experience is preferred but not mandatory, as the right candidate should be able to ramp up quickly.
