Job description

  • Test Strategy & Execution: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to new features and website enhancements.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution, working closely with developers to ensure a bug-free experience.
  • Release Planning: Prepare and own the release plans for the WMI website, ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met and deployment risks are mitigated.
  • Reporting: Create detailed test reports and quality metrics to provide visibility into the health of each release.
  • Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing to ensure that new features don’t negatively impact existing site functionality.

Requirements

Plan A Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA to ensure the seamless delivery of new features on our WMI website. You will be the primary advocate for user quality, responsible for everything from initial test design to the final “green light” for production. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys breaking things to make them better and thrives in a fast-paced release environment.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience in Manual QA, and 2+ years specifically focusing on web-based applications to be considered for this role., * BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Manual QA, and 2+ years specifically focusing on web-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and bug reports.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple release timelines simultaneously.
  • A proactive mindset and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and drive to do great things.
