Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Product Owner to lead strategic billing migration initiatives within the Telecom domain, with a strong focus on AT&T to DIRECTV customer and billing platform transitions. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Telecom OSS/BSS systems and hands-on experience with Amdocs Billing platforms, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless migration execution, operational stability, and an improved customer experience. This role requires strong product ownership capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex billing transformation programs in a fast-paced telecom environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end product ownership for telecom billing migration initiatives, specifically AT&T to DIRECTV transitions Collaborate with business stakeholders, telecom billing SMEs, engineering teams, OSS/BSS teams, and product owners to gather, refine, and prioritize business and system requirements. Translate business needs into clear product features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for engineering and vendor teams. Drive backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and release coordination in Agile delivery environments. Work closely with external vendors and implementation partners to guide development activities, clarify requirements, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Identify migration risks, system dependencies, data gaps, and operational challenges; proactively recommend mitigation strategies and solutions. Partner with QA, operations, and customer support teams to validate migration readiness and ensure successful production rollouts Monitor post-migration performance, customer impact, operational KPIs, and defect trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and decision-making across business and technology teams. Ensure alignment between migration objectives, customer experience goals, and operational efficiencies. Work closely with Telecom OSS/BSS platforms including billing, provisioning, CRM, and order management systems Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in Telecom, Billing, or large-scale migration programs. Strong experience with Telecom OSS/BSS architecture and billing transformation initiatives Must have hands-on experience with Amdocs Billing platforms and telecom billing operations. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management. Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, QA, and external vendors. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in complex, fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telecom billing systems such as Enabler or AT&T billing platforms. Experience supporting customer migration, subscription management, or billing transformation programs. Familiarity with data migration, API integrations, OSS/BSS integrations, and operational support processes. Scrum Product Owner certification or equivalent Agile certification preferred
