Job description

Design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using Pega.
Support Pega 24 and Pega Constellation implementations.
Develop custom components using Constellation SDKs and React.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable Pega solutions.
Develop and integrate Java/J2EE back-end services.
Provide technical guidance to development teams.
Perform code reviews and enforce development standards.
Troubleshoot application, integration, and environment issues.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, QA teams, and offshore resources.
Support DevOps, deployments, testing, and multiple application environments.
Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
Identify technical risks and recommend effective solutions.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Pega Application Engineer with at least 8 years of hands-on Pega development experience. The consultant will support the implementation and expansion of Pega capabilities across Personal, Commercial, and Specialty Insurance lines.

The project uses Pega Constellation with React for front-end development and Java for back-end services., * 8+ years of hands-on Pega development experience.

Strong experience with Pega 24.
Experience with Pega Constellation, Constellation SDKs, and custom component development.
5+ years of Java/J2EE web application development experience.
Strong experience with React and JavaScript.
Experience with Java, Tomcat, JSON, REST integrations, CSS3, and HTML5.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
Experience with UX concepts and responsive web application development.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
Experience with source control, code reviews, build processes, testing, and deployments.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

Pega Certified Lead System Architect certification.
Experience with AngularJS, AJAX, and jQuery.
Property and Casualty insurance industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
