Job description

Persistent Systems is looking for a Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of experience in developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices., * Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications.

Develop scalable Microservices using Spring Boot.
Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud deployments.

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs.
Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Proficiency in SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Design Patterns, OOP concepts, and multithreading.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
Experience with Hibernate and JPA.
Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, or Grafana., * Bachelor’’s or Master’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
