Job description

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop secure, reliable, and enterprise-grade applications.

  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs and Microservices.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
  • Experience designing and developing Microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
  • Experience with Hibernate/JPA and ORM frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda) or Azure.
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Exposure to Elasticsearch and Kibana.
  • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
