Job description

The Senior Project Manager leads large, high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and may oversee multiple concurrent projects of strategic importance to the enterprise. Beyond delivery excellence, this role serves as a trusted partner to senior leaders, a mentor to fellow project managers, and a driving force behind the continuous evolution of our project delivery practices., * Lead large-scale, complex, and strategically significant projects spanning multiple business units.

  • Own end-to-end accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
  • Direct cross-functional teams, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, and key decisions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to clarify priorities, resolve conflicts, and maintain strategic alignment.
  • Deliver executive-level status reporting, dashboards, and presentations that drive informed decision-making.
  • Coach and mentor junior and experienced project managers, fostering a strong delivery culture.
  • Champion the adoption and continuous improvement of VMO standards, metrics, and delivery frameworks.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive project management experience, including enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects in regulated or highly matrixed environments.
  • Strong expertise across Agile, hybrid, and traditional (Waterfall) delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Advanced financial management, forecasting, and budget oversight skills.
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • SAFe, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile Coach certification

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
