TELECOMMUTE Google Workspace Engineer - Remote

Google Cloud Platform Workspace Engineer, you ll be the architect and guardian of our Google Cloud-based collaboration ecosystem. You ll design, implement, and optimize Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform integrations that keep our teams connected, productive, and secure. Your work will directly influence how quickly we can innovate, how seamlessly we can collaborate, and how confidently we can scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design, configure, and manage Google Workspace environments (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Chat, and Admin Console) to meet evolving business needs.
• Integrate Google Workspace with Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Cloud Identity, IAM, Big Query, App Engine) for seamless workflows and secure access.
• Automate provisioning, policy enforcement, and reporting using tools like Google Apps Script, gcloud CLI, and APIs.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including DLP, context-aware access, and 2FA enforcement.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to design cloud-based solutions that enhance productivity and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workspace and Google Cloud Platform-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Stay ahead of Google Cloud updates and proactively recommend improvements to our environment.
• What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience administering Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform environments in a mid-to-large-scale organization.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services such as IAM, Cloud Identity, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting (Google Apps Script, Python, or Bash).
• Experience with security configuration, compliance frameworks, and identity management.
• Familiarity with API integrations and third-party SaaS tools.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
