Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Deployment Technician to join our dynamic technology team. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless deployment, configuration, and support of hardware and software across various organizational units. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining robust IT infrastructure, delivering exceptional technical support, and facilitating efficient technology operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment., * Install, configure, and deploy computer hardware, peripherals, and software in accordance with organizational standards and procedures.

  • Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
  • Utilize service management tools like ServiceNow and Jira to document incidents, track deployment progress, and coordinate tasks effectively.
  • Perform hardware repairs or replacements as needed while maintaining detailed records of deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions while adhering to security protocols

Requirements

  • Proven experience providing technical support and troubleshooting software or hardware issues.
  • Strong knowledge of computer management including operating systems such as Windows.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and their integration within enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and network security measures.
  • Experience managing computer hardware components and deploying enterprise-wide solutions using SCCM or similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of mobile device management and troubleshooting for smartphones or tablets.
  • Analytical skills necessary for diagnosing complex technical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy to track incidents efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their expertise in IT deployment within a collaborative environment.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
