Data Analyst

RThe Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting operational and business data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making. The role focuses on analysing container movements, fleet performance, delivery schedules, customer service metrics, fuel consumption, and financial performance to optimise haulage operations., * Collect, clean, validate, and analyse operational data from transport management systems (TMS), GPS tracking systems, ERP systems, and spreadsheets.

• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key operational and financial performance indicators.
• Analyse container turnaround times, delivery performance, vehicle utilisation, and route efficiency.
• Monitor fleet productivity, driver performance, and fuel consumption.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Support transport planners with route optimisation and resource allocation analysis.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
• Analyse customer service metrics, including delivery accuracy and on-time performance.
• Evaluate haulage costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as:
