Data Analysis Officer

We are looking for a Data Analysis/ Business Intelligence Officer to help collect, analyse and report business performance information, within a children’s social care team.

You will work with managers and teams to provide clear insights that support better decision making and service improvement. You will produce regular reports, identify trends, monitor performance and help develop new ways of working using data and technology., * Collect, analyse and report performance data through weekly and monthly reports.

• Identify trends, monitor performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Work with managers to improve performance and develop meaningful KPIs and measures.
• Build positive working relationships and communicate performance information through reports, presentations and discussions.
• Support Freedom of Information requests and help improve processes by using technology and new ways of working.

• Experience working in a Business Intelligence, Performance or Data Analysis role.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns and data quality issues.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using reporting tools.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.
• NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or an equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience of working within a local authority social services team, or similar is desirable
