Job description
The Service & Project Coordinator’s focus will be on providing exceptional service to an extensive range of customers, building and nurturing strong relationships with key contacts and providing support with parts, service and other after-sales products.
As the first point of contact in after-sales, you will be required to remotely connect to robot stations to assess faults, perform initial diagnostics, and provide first-line support before escalating issues to an engineer. Training will be provided for this aspect of the role.
It’s important that you are organised, proactive, and willing to investigate customer complaints/enquiries, take ownership of the instance, and serve as a point of contact from start to finish., * Act as a key point of contact for service-related enquiries and coordination.
- Log and manage new service requests, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up.
- Provide remote technical support, accessing the station using VPN
- Coordinate work schedules for the Service Department, liaising with engineers and customers.
- Account for and document remote support activities undertaken.
- Quote for annual service and maintenance packages.
- Price breakdown support requirements in line with company procedures.
- Prepare RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for on-site engineering and service activities
- Actively promote recommended consumable spares packages to all new customers.
Project Support
- Support the Project Manager with planning and coordination of project build and delivery activities.
- Coordinate logistics, including booking accommodation and flights for engineers across both Service and Project departments.
- Support documentation, communication, and administrative tasks related to project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a coordination, service, project support, or customer-facing role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of customer focus and attention to detail.
- Confident using MS Office and ERP/SAP
Desirable
- Experience within automation, robotics, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Commercial awareness with experience producing quotes or pricing support services.
- Familiarity with service contracts, maintenance agreements, or spares management.
