Job description
Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, in person, in Brookfield, WI with travel to other WI locations as needed, · Provide end-user support in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, internet, and any other IT related issues
· Build, install, configure, and maintain all hardware including PCs, printers, plotters, network devices, ipads, etc.
· Install, configure, and maintain all software programs including Microsoft Office 365, various civil engineering programs (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation, AutoDesk) and various other programs (Bluebeam, ESET, Teams, Veeam, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Entra, Multifactor Authentication, etc.)
· Maintain an organized and tracked asset inventory of all IT equipment from purchase to retirement
· Manage corporate IT security and ensure best practices are being followed
· Create documentation and user guides and provide training to end-users as needed
· Travel to other DAAR offices as necessary to provide support and resolve IT related issues
· Manual setup, shipping, and/or moving of various computer and office equipment
· Communicate with clarity to end users, management and related vendors
· Additional projects as assigned
Requirements
· Degree in Information Technology or related field
· 3+ years of experience in a similar IT Support role
· Proven experience managing a variety of hardware and software, specifically MS Office 365
· Ability to diagnose and resolve IT technical problems in a timely and efficient manner with minimal additional training
· Self-starter that can work independently, multi-task, and balance and prioritize tasks
· Strong communication skills in both written and verbal form with the ability to explain technical concepts to end-users
· Strong technical and problem-solving skills
