Sr. User Experience Designer

The Sr. UX Designer at SSI will join a small but mighty team of designers working within the space of ag retail. We are an ag tech company working in a unique and complex product space supporting the businesses that support farmers. We are seeking a talented senior UX designer who is well-versed in UX principles and excited to work in a product space. As a senior UX designer at SSI, you will be responsible for:

• User research with internal subject matter experts and customers, including contextual interviews.
• Synthesizing research and identifying insights to guide your design decisions.
• Wireframing and prototyping design solutions, testing concepts, iterating based on internal and external feedback.
• Collaborating with the UX team lead on ways to improve team processes and internal design standards and practices.
• Taking on the most challenging and complex design work.

• 8+ years user experience and/or product design.
• Well-versed in user experience design and product design
• Deep experience using Figma and design systems to create hi-fidelity prototypes.
• Ready to collaborate and work autonomously.
• User-facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with B2B and SAAS products
• Experience working within complex software products
• Effective communication and collaboration

You will be expected to:

• Mentor junior designers to help them grow their skills
