The Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) SHARE Bureau manages one of New Mexico’s largest and most critical enterprise technology environments, supporting the financial and human resource operations of executive branch agencies across state government. Through the statewide SHARE Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, the bureau delivers modern technology solutions, business process innovation, system administration, and customer support that help ensure billions of dollars in public funds are managed accurately, securely, and efficiently.

This position exists to provide strategic leadership for the financial business operations of the State of New Mexico’s SHARE Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The Manager, IT Business Analytics leads the functional Financials (FIN) team responsible for supporting, enhancing, and modernizing the statewide PeopleSoft Financials environment used by executive branch agencies. This position partners with business leaders, technology teams, and executive stakeholders to improve financial business processes, implement innovative technology solutions, and ensure the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of one of the state’s most critical enterprise systems. Through leadership, collaboration, and strategic planning, this position plays a key role in advancing the State’s financial technology infrastructure and delivering exceptional service to agencies statewide. This position provides leadership for the SHARE Financials functional team by guiding daily operations, establishing priorities, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment. The Manager works closely with executive agencies, finance professionals, technical teams, vendors, and project managers to understand business needs, analyze complex financial processes, and deliver innovative technology solutions that improve statewide operations. Responsibilities include overseeing system configuration, testing, production support, upgrades, and new functionality across the PeopleSoft Financials suite while ensuring the integrity, reliability, and security of critical financial data. The position also leads strategic projects, mentors a team of business analysts, develops business process improvements, and partners across functional areas, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Learning Management (ELM), Security, and Infrastructure, to successfully deliver enterprise initiatives. Through strong leadership, communication, and continuous process improvement, this position helps shape the future of New Mexico’s statewide ERP environment and ensures agencies receive exceptional support in carrying out their financial operations. Requirements

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in any field and six (6) years of experience in information technology or business analysis. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience. PMI-PBA certification may be substituted for one (1) year of education. Employment Requirements

Work is performed primarily in an office environment at the Bataan Memorial Building, 407 Galisteo Street, Santa Fe, NM. The position requires regular on-site attendance, extended periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and standard office equipment, participation in meetings, and occasional lifting of office materials up to 25 pounds.
