Computer Support Technican

Established and growing company seeks part-time Computer Technicians to provide level-2 tech support by phone, internet, and onsite visits to customer sites. Responsibilities include fielding technical support calls; using the Linux command line interface on a daily basis to access remote PCs and troubleshoot issues; configuring & testing various PC and networking equipment; and traveling to customer sites to perform maintenance.

Shifts are Monday-Friday, in 6 hour blocks.

Additional Paid Weekend on-call shifts will be scheduled according to availability. Training for internal systems and processes will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Field technical support calls

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

• Configure, test, and maintain equipment

• Create and manage support tickets for tracking and billing purposes

• Must have or be currently working toward a degree in a technology-related field (is a bonus but not required).

• 2-3 years Previous phone-based support experience

• 2-3 years Understanding of PC concepts, principles, maintenance, and operation

• 1-3 years Experience with LINUX command line interface

• 1-2 years of SQL/MySQL queries

• 1-2 years of networking experience.

• Ability to learn new skills quickly

• Bilingual, proficient in BOTH English & Spanish (not required, but a plus)
