Director of Information Technology

• Develop and execute the organization’s overall IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards such as NIST and PCI compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide systems including databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and virtualization platforms (vSphere).
• Oversee the management of IT infrastructure including network security (firewalls, VPNs, DNS), server management, SAN storage solutions, and network administration to ensure high availability and performance.
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives by establishing robust information security protocols, managing risk assessments, disaster recovery planning, and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software licensing, cloud services, and consulting to optimize costs and service quality.
• Lead software development projects utilizing modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, PHP,.NET, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Agile methodologies while managing project timelines using technical project & program management best practices.
• Oversee system architecture design for enterprise solutions involving APIs, ERP systems integration (e.g., SAP), ETL processes for data warehousing, and application development.
• Implement comprehensive business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and operations.
• Facilitate effective communication across executive teams to support data-driven decision-making through analysis skills and IT governance frameworks.

• Proven leadership experience as an IT director or senior manager overseeing large-scale technology teams in complex environments.
• Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including MPLS networks, WAN/WLAN configurations, LAN administration, DNS management, VoIP systems, and network security protocols.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies like vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Strong background in database management systems including Oracle Database Management System (DBMS), Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; experience with ETL processes is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with software engineering principles across multiple programming languages including Python, JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Node.js), PHP, Java applications, and.NET architecture.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI DSS for payment security; knowledge of NIST standards for cybersecurity is highly desirable.
• Skilled in managing cross-functional teams through change management processes while fostering collaboration among technical staff and business units.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Track record of leading enterprise solutions implementation involving application development lifecycle (SDLC), system design strategies, vendor negotiations, budgeting responsibilities, and risk management practices.
