Software Automation Test Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced Software Automation Test Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry., * Delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools
• Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts
• Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test
• Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
• Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with test management system and defect tracking system
• Contribute to team deliverable through involvement in agile scrum development sprints
• Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and test scripts
• Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test
• Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
• Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and the defect tracking system
• Contribute to the team’s deliverable through involvement in agile scrum development sprints

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a WES-evaluated equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in Python, .Net Framework, and Test Automation development
• Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (i.e., Slash)
• Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
• Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)
• Experience with database (SQL) - Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key qualities

• $48.00-$52.00/ hour (depending on experience)
• Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) - extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
• Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October)
