Job description

Provides technical support to the concert venue network, data communication systems and point of sale systems., * Provides specialized technical problem solving and problem resolutions to IT services at the Summer Concert Venue

  • Works with local IT to resolve computer system, Point of Sale and data communication systems
  • Installs and maintains Point of Sale devices and networking cabling and hardware
  • Provides first and/or second level problem determination & isolation and recovery support for concert venue network, POS, and other computer systems
  • Assists in planning by communicating with project/product teams, clients and vendors
  • Recommends changes for improved system implementation/modifications
  • Practices, and adheres to system management criteria and policies and procedures
  • Appropriately leverages resources to efficiently resolve issues.
  • Assists with venue build out, support during concerts, and tear down.
  • This position will not have any gaming system access

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • General knowledge of production operating systems, transaction processing systems, wide and local area networks, communication protocols, as well as various types of computer terminal equipment.
  • Ability to work various schedules and work hours
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of the material being handled
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
  • Literacy and fluency in English
  • Demonstrated excellent interactive skills
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented with ability to preform multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have visual acuity.
  • Ability to note audio or visual warnings or error messages from system.
  • Ability to smell.
  • Able to lift, carry, push, pull, handle, reach or grip 50 pounds, above or below shoulder
  • Ability to differentiate between colors
  • Auditory range must include immediate environment.
  • Mobility to move about the property
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
  • Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
