AI/GCP Engineer

Supporting Commercial Ops Team effort -Build a scalable AI support model, transition Participant Notice to Commercial IT, and deliver GCP agents ready for production in Q4.

Tenured AI Engineer-

This role focuses on hands-on development of integrations, connectivity, prompt engineering, and event-driven flows, with solutions deployed on GCP. It also includes establishing a scalable support model and rapidly translating ideas into reusable solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The role involves building and maintaining AI agents, leveraging prompt engineering, and collaborating with governance, innovation, architecture, and cloud teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions., Develop and support AI-enabled applications, APIs, and automation solutions

Assist in building AI agents, workflows, and prompt patterns

Contribute to prototypes and reusable components

Support backend service and API development

Assist in implementing event-driven solutions and CI/CD pipelines

Integrate with enterprise systems following secure coding practices

Collaborate with teams to deliver quality solutions and learn best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI-enabled applications, APIs, and automation solutions end-to-end

• Develop agent workflows, prompt patterns, and evaluation frameworks

• Create prototypes and reusable components

• Design scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations

• Implement event-driven solutions and CI/CD pipelines

• Integrate with enterprise systems and ensure secure coding practices, * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

• 8-12 years of software engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong full-stack development (API, backend, UI)

• Experience building AI-enabled applications

• Experience with GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud Run) or similar platforms

• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud deployments, and DevOps

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

• Strong communication skills, * Basic Prompt Engineering & AI Model Integration

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and agent-based systems

• API Development & Integration

• Cloud fundamentals (GCP preferred - Cloud Run, basics of Azure/AWS)

• Event-driven architecture basics (Pub/Sub)

• Programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

2-4 years of software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

Basic understanding of API and backend development

Exposure to AI/ML or AI-enabled applications

Experience or familiarity with GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud Run) or similar platforms

Understanding of DevOps concepts and cloud deployments

Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
