Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python, Robot Framework, and Pytest.
  • Develop automated tests for system, integration, regression, and end-to-end validation.
  • Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
  • Improve test strategies, automation coverage, and validation processes across products and projects.
  • Debug software, hardware, communication, and system-level issues.
  • Execute validation activities on real EV charging systems and laboratory test setups.
  • Work with power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and other measurement equipment.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, system, and test engineering teams to ensure product quality and successful releases.
  • Support best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation and system validation.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Pytest.
  • Experience building automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
  • Experience with automated regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and system domains.
  • Experience working in laboratory environments with measurement equipment and electrical test setups.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, or industrial products.
  • Strong communication skills, a quality-focused mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DC EV Charging Systems (EVSE).
  • Knowledge of OCPP, ISO 15118, Modbus, or CAN.
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
  • Experience with embedded systems, Docker, Jira/Xray, or ISTQB certification.
