Job description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the architectural design, deployment, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native systems. We require a technical leader with a proven track record of driving cloud modernization initiatives, automating large-scale environments, and mentoring engineering teams., * Architect, implement, and govern multi-cloud or single-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Lead cloud migration strategies, infrastructure modernization, and workloads transformation across enterprise environments.
  • Develop, test, and maintain declarative Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Engineer, optimize, and support robust CI/CD pipelines to drive deployment automation and continuous software delivery.
  • Enforce cloud security frameworks, Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, compliance controls, and data governance standards.
  • Architect infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, proactive monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Resolve complex, cross-domain production incidents and perform root-cause analysis to implement permanent technical solutions.
  • Define technical documentation, reference architectures, engineering standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Mentor cloud engineers and champion modern engineering best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, SRE, or systems engineering.
  • Proven production-level expertise designing and managing enterprise environments within AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
  • Advanced mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically utilizing Terraform for state management and modular infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience containerizing workloads with Docker and orchestrating them via production-scale Kubernetes clusters.
  • Practical knowledge of network topologies, including VPC peering, transit gateways, DNS configuration, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Deep experience establishing telemetry, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Solid baseline in both Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Enterprise-level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical technical experience.
