Job description

American Marine Canvas & Upholstery, a leading provider of custom marine canvas and upholstery for luxury yachts across South Florida, is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is a Full-Time position based in our Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States office. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of the advanced 3D digital technology that is central to our design and fabrication process. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can provide excellent technical support to our staff., * Provide first and second-line technical support to all staff for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and company software.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords across various platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and network problems, including diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Provide dedicated support for our specialised 3D digital patterning technology and associated design software.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset and documentation records.
  • Assist with the procurement, setup, and deployment of new IT equipment.
  • Ensure the security of our IT systems by monitoring for threats and applying necessary updates.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
  • A customer-focused approach and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Experience with CAD or 3D modelling software would be a significant advantage.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are desirable but not essential.
