Systems Support Engineer in Brentford

I am recruiting on behalf of my client, an established technology business that delivers specialist software and communication solutions to customers across the UK., Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will maintain and support business critical software applications and communication systems, ensuring customers receive a high level of technical support and service., * Maintain, support and monitor business critical software applications and communication systems. \n

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams. \n

• Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical faults. \n

• Manage and prioritise support requests using the company’s helpdesk system. \n

• Carry out routine system health checks and preventative maintenance. \n

• Assist with the installation, configuration and commissioning of new systems. \n

• Work closely with other technical teams to resolve customer issues. \n

• Support demonstrations of new products and solutions when required. \n

• Participate in an on call rota and provide out of hours support when required. \n

• Experience within IT, Networking or Telecommunications support. \n

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking. \n

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. \n

• Ability to investigate faults and troubleshoot technical issues. \n

• Excellent customer service and communication skills. \n

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
