Job description

Technical Integration Engineer circa £50k + EMEA Travel
UK-based British Citizenship Required Cutting-edge tech + complex customer environments

If you’re a hands-on engineer who loves solving deep technical challenges across software, networking, and system integration, this one’s worth a look.

We’re supporting a global technology leader as they expand their EMEA technical team, and they’re looking for someone who can own integrations end-to-end, shape new solutions, and be the technical face of the business on high-impact customer deployments.

What the Technical Integration Engineer will be doing

  • Leading technical integration of advanced systems into customer IT environments
  • Configuring, testing, and validating software + system interfaces
  • Troubleshooting complex issues across software, networking, and system layers
  • Developing custom scripts/tools (C++, C#) to support deployments
  • Contributing to architecture and design for new applications and use cases
  • Working closely with Engineering & Product on continuous improvement
  • Documenting best practices and technical solutions
  • Supporting customers directly on high-level technical topics
  • Travelling across EMEA (up to 40%) for critical deployments

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in C++ and C#
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and system integration
  • Confident troubleshooting across software, hardware, and networks
  • Ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
  • British citizenship (essential)

Bonus points if the Technical Integration Engineer has:

  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs)
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, virtualisation, OS environments)
  • Awareness of cybersecurity principles
  • Experience with APIs, system interfaces, or industrial/automation environments
  • Additional scripting languages

Why this Technical Integration Engineer role?

  • High autonomy and technical ownership
  • Exposure to diverse customer environments across EMEA
  • Opportunity to influence architecture and new product development
  • Salary circa £50k (dependent on the individuals experience) with strong progression potential

If you’re a technically curious engineer who thrives in varied environments and enjoys seeing your work come to life on customer sites, this could be a brilliant next step.
