Job description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full stack applications in AWS
  • Build scalable backend services using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Django
  • Develop modern user-facing applications using JavaScript and React
  • Design and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems
  • Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Design and optimize relational and analytical database solutions
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design reviews
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications in production

Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Python Developer to build and support modern, cloud-native business applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong Python, AWS, API, and full stack development experience who is comfortable owning solutions from design through production support., * 4+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Strong hands-on Python development experience building business applications
  • Experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar Python frameworks
  • Full stack development experience with JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks
  • Strong REST API development and integration experience
  • Strong SQL and database skills
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS
  • CI/CD experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of testing, SDLC, and software engineering best practices

Nice to Have:

  • React
  • AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, SNS, and SQS
  • Redshift, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms
  • Apache Airflow
  • Microservices architecture
  • Asset Management or Financial Services experience
  • Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, or similar investment platforms
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude
