- Lead discussions on addiction recovery, relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, life skills, and wellness.
- Encourage active participation while managing group dynamics professionally.
- Complete timely and accurate group documentation and attendance records.
- Communicate client concerns and progress with the clinical treatment team.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow all agency policies, ethical standards, and California DHCS regulations.
Requirements
Last Door Sobriety is seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for adults participating in our PHP and IOP programs. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about addiction recovery, has strong group facilitation skills, and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team., * Experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction, recovery principles, and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the treatment team.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and compassionate., * Experience working in PHP, IOP, residential, or outpatient treatment programs.
- Familiarity with CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, and 12-Step recovery.
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Required Certification
A current and active RADT (Registered Alcohol Drug Technician) certification issued by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is required at the time of hire.
Applicants must provide proof of an active RADT registration and be in good standing. Applications from individuals without a valid RADT certification will not be considered.
Additional certifications such as CADC, CATC, SUDCC, or other recognized substance use disorder counseling credentials are highly preferred.
