Job description

The CE Compliance Specialist is responsible for the administrative support of all continuing education completions and follow-up within the organization. This will include: the oversight of onsite, online, seminars, and conference applications. The Compliance Specialist should be professional and courteous in their communication, detail-oriented, computer literate, and able to forecast what will be needed for each event; essentially a good planner. The Compliance Specialist must be highly organized in order to ensure that all course offerings and credit postings are completed, follow-up takes place as needed, and credit is properly posted with applicable regulatory boards. It is imperative that this person be strong in telephone and e-mail communication, in order to maintain communication with regulatory boards and internal team members.

Work Performed:

The compliance specialist will perform [at a minimum] the following tasks:

  • Responsible for for reporting attendees to the applicable regulatory boards for all education events/courses within the organization, including but not limited to, the oversight of on-site, self-study, online, seminars, and conferences.
  • Understanding of data analytics and compiling course completion records based on state requirements.
  • Understanding and maintain knowledge of the various licensing board rules and regulations.
  • Assist in creating materials for large venues [Roster forms, Certificates of Completion, and credit processing guidelines.)
  • Responsible for tracking credit posting fees
  • Project and task management for time sensitive requirements.
  • Must be proficient on the computer and web navigation. Special emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Responsible for tracking and managing multiple incoming event rosters with necessary reminders and follow-ups (project management).
  • Required to maintain multiple databases (database management)
  • Will need to be focused on excellent customer service and have the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Must have excellent communication in phone, written, and email communication.
  • Responsible for managing the records archives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Position requires extensive analytical, organizational, technical and communications skills generally acquired through completion of an associate-level degree program., * Analytical/Detail oriented

EXPERIENCE

Work requires a minimum of three years experience within a similar compliance position. Insurance, education, or healthcare industry preferred.

OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE, * Have you worked with time sensitive tasks/projects in the past? If so, please provide examples.

  • Would you consider your self a BASIC, INTERMEDIATE, or ADVANCED MS Excel user?
