Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization’s network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and performance.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including cloud platforms, automation tools, and container orchestration systems.

The ideal applicant will possess a strong background in system administration, network security, and DevSecOps practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and operational efficiency., * Manage and support the organization’s network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.

  • Integrates IP telephony systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and other Internet-based services and protocols.
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Automate deployment processes using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot technical issues related to operating systems (Windows, Linux), hardware, or software components.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and support container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Manage system administration tasks across various operating systems, including Windows and Linux servers.
  • Support project management activities related to IT infrastructure upgrades or new implementations using Agile methodologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in planning for disaster recovery strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, router/switch configuration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
  • Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with data management
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives., * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Preferred Certificate or Licenses:

  • CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent Cisco Certification, COBIT 5 Foundation, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), * Bachelor’s (Required), * LAN: 5 years (Preferred)
  • WAN: 5 years (Preferred)
  • WLAN: 5 years (Preferred)
  • WWAN : 5 years (Preferred)
  • VoIP equipment: 5 years (Preferred)
  • network infrastructure: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Azure: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Fortinet: 5 years (Required)
  • Cisco : 5 years (Required)
  • network security : 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CCNA (Preferred)
