Network and Systems Administrator (3+ yrs exp)

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure for our small business clients and networks for our residential properties. You will be responsible for overseeing network operations, administering Microsoft 365 environments, managing email systems, implementing wireless technologies, and ensuring high-speed internet connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, Microsoft 365 administration, computer support, server support, email systems, wireless networking, and experience with an Internet Service Provider (ISP)., * Manage and maintain network infrastructure for small business clients and residential properties, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Configure and troubleshoot email systems, including Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, SPF, DMARC, and DKIM.
• Implement and manage wireless technologies, including point-to-point and point to multipoint bridging, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity for clients.
• Ensure high-speed internet connectivity for residential properties, including installation and management of Routers, Switches, VLANs, Fiber and ethernet, as well as terminating cables.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues for clients.
• Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures for clients.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to improve system performance and security.
• Implement and maintain Network and system security measures to protect against unauthorized access and security threats.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support business objectives and projects.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for clients.

• US Citizen capable of obtaining a federal security clearance.
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and systems administration, with a focus on small business environments and residential networking.
• Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Strong knowledge of email systems and routing including SPF, DMARC, DKIM.
• Familiarity with security best practices and tools.
• Experience working with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Industry certifications.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with wireless networking technologies, including Wi-Fi standards and protocols, and dedicated wireless bridging.
• Familiarity with physical network installations, termination, etc.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and maintain/install roof mounted wireless hardware.
• Knowledge of wireless security protocols, such as WPA2 and WPA3.
• Experience with DHCP, IPV4, VLANS, Firewalls, NAT, Routing.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Familiarity with VoIP technologies and solutions.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
