  • Determine urgency during early investigations and ensure level 1 triage tickets are raised with accurate, high-quality data

  • Support the maintenance of key testing assets and help investigate complex systems using available evidence and structured methods

  • Work across multiple areas of the business to ensure issues are understood, prioritised correctly, and ownership is clearly identified

  • Facilitate issue review discussions and follow-ups to keep investigations moving with confidence

  • Maintain and update issue registers and tracking systems with accuracy and rigour

Requirements

  • Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis capability, with a structured approach to investigations

  • The ability to interpret and present metrics, KPIs, and performance information in a clear, understandable way

  • Solid familiarity with software integration principles and system dependencies, particularly in complex environments

  • Experience working within structured project governance frameworks, along with confidence in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models

This Software/Systems Diagnostic Engineer role directly supports the delivery of reliable automotive features and systems by strengthening how issues are triaged, analysed, and routed to the right teams for resolution.
