- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex software and systems issues during the vehicle development phase.
- Determine the urgency of issues during initial investigations and ensure accurate data capture for effective triage.
- Maintain and update key testing assets, assisting in the testing of complex systems and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are understood, prioritised, and resolved efficiently.
- Develop, interpret, and present metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards to track issue resolution progress.
- Facilitate regular issue review meetings, ensuring clear ownership and timely follow-up.
- Maintain structured issue registers and tracking systems with precision and discipline., * Engage directly with complex software and systems issues to gather data, define problems, and analyse root causes.
- Coordinate with various teams to identify ownership and drive resolution of issues.
- Ensure testing assets are up-to-date and contribute to hands-on testing of intricate systems.
- Monitor and report on issue resolution progress using performance metrics and dashboards.
- Participate in regular review meetings to ensure alignment and accountability across teams.

Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Systems and Software Issue Resolution Specialist to join a premium automotive brand’s Central Systems Integration (CSI) team. This role is pivotal in diagnosing and resolving software and systems issues during the development phase of cutting-edge automotive vehicle platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of software across multiple ECUs, contributing to the delivery of advanced vehicle features and systems., * Strong knowledge of issue/defect management processes and tools.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software integration principles and dependencies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions on complex or sensitive matters.
- High attention to detail and process discipline.
- Experience working within structured project governance frameworks (e.g., PMO, programme teams).
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
