Job description
- Momentum you can feel: EZ-Commerce is âShopify for the corner hardware storeâ but wired straight into their POS, so their whole inventory goes online with a few clicks. No more broken spreadsheets, no more missing data, no more âyour ticket is #3945.â
- Real users, real impact: Our platform is LIVE in thousands of stores, from small-town Oklahoma to big-name chains. Youâre not supporting vaporware or âmaybe somedayâ tech. Every win you deliver is a local ownerâs real dollars and peace of mind.
- Not a script reader job: Youâll tackle real problems, have real autonomy, and get a seat at the table when we decide what to build next.
- Work with A-players only: No coasting, no clock watchers. If youâre tired of being the sharpest tool in the shed, youâll fit right in here.
WHAT YOUâLL ACTUALLY DO
- Hop on phone calls, webinars, and emails with store owners and managers, many right here in Oklahoma. Guide them through connecting their POS, cleaning up their product data, and getting their online store live.
- Diagnose and solve problems across databases, control panels, and basic cloud setups. If Excel and CSVs are second nature, youâre in the right place.
- Wrangle messy inventory data. Spot whatâs broken, fix it, and explain it in plain English, no jargon, just straight talk.
- Bridge the gap between customers and our dev team. Report bugs, test new features, and help decide what gets built next.
- Write and improve our help docs, suggest better tools, and keep the âsupportâ in tech support.
- Test, break, and validate new features before they go live. Your feedback shapes what 2,500+ stores see next.
- Stay dependable. Show up, follow through, and be the calm in the storm for people who depend on us.
Requirements
- Hands-on tech chops: Youâve supported software before, know your way around databases, control panels, and computer setups (hardware and software). You can parse and clean large datasets with Excel or similar tools.
- Clear communicator: You can walk a non-technical person through a gnarly problem and make them feel like itâs easy. Your follow-ups are legendary.
- Problem-solving brain: You get a rush from troubleshooting and figuring things out, especially when the answer isnât obvious.
- Team player, not a lone wolf: You thrive in a fast, collaborative environment. You want your work to matter to the product, not just the ticket queue.
- Reliable, shows up, follows through: You do what you say youâll do, on time, every time.
- Bonus points: Experience with hardware retail, POS systems (Epicor, RockSolid, Paladin, etc.), or basic coding/AI tools. But raw talent and drive matter more than any specific credential.
- 1+ year in a technical support, IT, or data-heavy role (or you can show us youâve got the skills another way. We care about what you can do, not just your resume).

About the company
EZ-Commerce is catching fire in hardware retail, powering real local businesses from Tulsa to Oklahoma City and beyond with e-commerce muscle the big guys wish they had. Weâre tearing up the old, slow way of doing things. We move fast, solve messy problems, and only bring on people who take pride in getting things done right. If youâre the one folks call when the tech breaks at the feed store, the hardware shop, or the family business, this is your shot to make a statewide (and nationwide) impact.
This is the ground floor. The big wave. Not your average help desk gig. If you want to be the reason a local store owner in Oklahoma goes from âstuckâ to âwinning,â keep reading. We want people who care about their neighbors and want to build something that lasts.
