Power BI Developer

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our data-driven team. • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models and visualizations
• Optimize data workflows by integrating data from diverse sources such as AWS, Azure Data Lake, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud databases
• Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting in Python or Shell Scripting to ensure accurate data ingestion
• Manage query performance and troubleshoot issues related to SQL databases, query management, and data warehouse design
• Support data management integration efforts by working with big data systems such as Apache Hive, Spark, and Hadoop for large-scale data processing
• Participate in Agile development cycles to continuously improve BI solutions and ensure timely delivery of analytics projects
• Leverage Tableau / Phython/SQL Server/Azure/ADF/Cosyroc/PLSQL/ETL

• Proven experience developing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI or similar tools
• Strong proficiency in SQL programming for query management, database design, and data modeling across SQL Server, Oracle, or cloud databases
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based big data systems such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure Data Lake, or Public Cloud environments
• Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop ecosystem components like Apache Hive and Spark for scalable data processing
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes using Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting in Python or Bash (Unix shell) for robust data pipeline development
• Understanding of dimensional modeling principles for effective data warehousing design and analysis skills for deriving insights from complex datasets
• Experience working with software development methodologies such as Agile for iterative project delivery
• Skills in API integration (RESTful APIs), model training techniques for analytics applications, and database design principles
• Additional knowledge of Looker BI platform is a plus for cross-tool integration; VBA skills are advantageous for automation tasks within Excel-based workflows
