IE/ Ergonomic & Launch Readiness Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

• Reviewing future assembly line jobs before production starts.
• Using CAD and simulation tools to identify ergonomic concerns.
• Evaluating workstation layouts, tooling, and material presentation methods.
• Working with engineers to redesign tasks that may lead to injuries or inefficiencies.
• Supporting assembly line readiness during vehicle launches.
• Participating in shutdown and critical launch support activities when required.
• Driving continuous improvements that enhance employee safety, quality, and productivity.

• Bachelor’s degree in: Industrial Engineering, Ergonomics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Ergonomics Engineering or Automotive Manufacturing
• Experience performing ergonomic risk assessments in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and workstation design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and plant teams., * Experience in automotive manufacturing or vehicle assembly operations.
• Familiarity with Digital Human Modeling (DHM) software and ergonomic simulation tools.
• Experience working with CAD models in a manufacturing environment.
