Job description

IgniteAction is seeking an experienced Development Lead/Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role requires deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular), backend development in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL-based data stores, and a strong ability to drive code quality, mentor developers, review pull requests, and optimize system and application performance. The Core Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React, Vue.js, or Angular
  • Backend: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go
  • Data: PostgreSQL or SQL, * Feature Architecture: Designing small-to-medium systems
  • Code Quality: Writing clean, testable code
  • Review PRs: Conduct code review before deployment and coach developers on any issues discovered
  • API: Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use.
  • Performance: Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor mid-junior developers

Requirements

Understanding database normalization, load balancing, and basic microservices. DevOps Ability to debug a failing CI/CD pipeline and manage environment variables safely. Testing Writing unit tests and End-to-End tests as standard practice. Soft Skills Explaining technical trade-offs to product managers and mentoring junior developers. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of experience, Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance.
