- Contribute to the design of land and site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports with support from senior staff.
- Coordinate with internal team members, subconsultants, and permitting agencies.
- Assist in preparing submittals and responding to review comments from municipalities and other stakeholders.
- Attend internal and external project meetings, including with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Support the mentoring of junior engineers and CAD designers as needed.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed engineer with the opportunity to advance toward licensure.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer with experience in land development to join our dynamic team in Central Texas. This position is ideal for a civil engineering professional early in their career who is ready to take the next step by working on a variety of land and site development projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in land or site development.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
- Actively pursuing Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with local (Texas) development standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
