Job description

The HRIS Analyst I (Oracle Fusion HCM) serves as a liaison between the IT organization and business stakeholders, supporting Oracle Fusion HCM systems across a range of HR business processes. This role requires an understanding of Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time and Labor. The position supports the prioritization of initiatives and helps identify opportunities where Oracle Fusion HCM technology can add business value in collaboration with business partners., * Quickly learn and develop working knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM functionality and assigned applications

  • Gain an understanding of business processes supported by assigned HCM modules
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for Oracle Fusion HCM applications
  • Participate in Oracle quarterly patch testing, including impact analysis, test execution, defect tracking, and validation of fixes
  • Use SQL and reporting tools to analyze data and assist with troubleshooting application issues
  • Work with end users to understand, document, and reproduce system issues
  • Communicate issues and requirements effectively to technical teams, assist in solution development, validate fixes, and support deployments
  • Support end user training and provide guidance on the proper use of assigned systems
  • Maintain accountability for the quality, accuracy, and stability of assigned applications
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and related documentation
  • Create user guides, job aids, and recorded training materials as needed
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and document business and functional requirements
  • Produce clear, well-structured documentation that can be easily understood by developers and technical teams
  • Collaborate closely with managers and cross functional technical and functional team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 1+ years of functional experience in technology support or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented HCM environment
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn application environments, business processes, and system integrations within Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Foundational understanding of HR business processes and their relationship to IT systems and solutions, * 2+ years of functional experience in a technology support or related field
  • Experience of working with Oracle HCM Cloud applications
  • Good understanding of industry and business process trends
