Video Editing Amazon Marketplace Marketplace

Job description

Halsted is investing in Durasack, its DTC-primary consumer brand, where the ecommerce marketplaces are our storefront and we are building the marketing function from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Content and Marketplace Specialist to own the product detail page from end to end: the words, the images, the design, and the listings themselves. This is a producer role, not a strategy seat. You will create the majority of our product content and creative yourself, direct our agencies for video production, and keep our marketplace listings accurate, optimized, and on-brand across every channel we sell on.

You will work closely with the VP of Marketing and a lean team, so we need someone versatile who moves quickly, sweats the details, and is as comfortable writing a product title as they are designing an A+ content module or pushing a bulk listing update. If you like owning a channel and seeing your work go live the same week, this role is built for you., * Direct video with agencies. Scope, brief, and manage external agencies and freelancers for product and lifestyle video, then adapt and deploy the final assets across listings and channels.

  • Own marketplace updates. Manage day-to-day listing operations: create and update listings, run bulk uploads and flat files, maintain catalog hygiene, fix errors, and keep content accurate across marketplaces.
  • Optimize for performance. Monitor how listings perform, test content and imagery, and improve detail pages to lift search visibility and conversion.
  • Protect brand consistency. Keep every asset and listing aligned to Durasack’s brand standards, voice, and visual identity across all channels.
  • Coordinate the catalog. Keep product information organized and consistent as the assortment grows, and help build the systems that keep it that way., This is a rare chance to own a channel that matters from the ground up. You will have real autonomy, see your work go live fast, and help shape how a growing brand shows up everywhere it sells. Your fingerprints will be on the product experience customers see every day.

Requirements

  • Proven experience producing ecommerce content and managing marketplace listings, ideally on a DTC-primary brand.
  • Hands-on graphic design skills, with a portfolio of product imagery, listing creative, or enhanced content you built yourself.
  • Strong product copywriting, with an eye for what drives search visibility and conversion.
  • Direct experience with marketplace backends (such as Amazon Seller or Vendor Central), including bulk uploads, flat files, and catalog troubleshooting.
  • The ability to brief and manage agencies or freelancers for video, then finish and deploy the assets.
  • A self-starter who thrives owning a channel end to end on a lean team, and who moves quickly without losing attention to detail., * Experience with a Product Information Management (PIM) system or similar catalog / content management platform.
  • Video editing or motion graphics ability to complement agency work.
  • Familiarity with home decor and/or lifestyle categories.
  • Experience contributing to a brand or marketing function in an early build-out stage.
