Job description

Now Hiring: ICT On-Site Plant Support (IT Support Technician)

Location: Marelli - Pulaski, TN Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Are you passionate about technology and enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Marelli is seeking an ICT On-Site Plant Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support for our production facility and office operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide on-site IT support for plant and office users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, scanners, and network connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based computers and portable devices.
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Monitor workstation performance and perform software updates.
  • Configure and support wired and wireless network connections.
  • Utilize a Help Desk ticketing system to track and resolve support requests.
  • Assist with telephone and mobile device setup, moves, adds, and changes.
  • Work with remote IT teams to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Respond to critical production IT issues to minimize downtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with barcode printers and handheld scanners (Zebra and Symbol preferred).
  • Manufacturing IT experience is a plus.
  • Experience with:
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • SQL Server and SQL queries
  • PLC troubleshooting and support

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plant and Support End User IT Support
  • Leverage a Helpdesk Ticketing System for incoming work and tracking work progress
  • Ensures all incidents are resolved in time respecting agreed SLAs
  • Install Troubleshoot and Maintain Computers Systems in a Windows Environment
  • TCP/IP - Ethernet and Wireless Network Environment setup and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite support and troubleshooting
  • Printers set-up and troubleshooting including bar code printer support, and wireless scanner support
  • Workstation performance monitoring and optimization
  • Configure and support workstations and portable systems for connectivity to the network both locally and remotely

  • Install and maintain client PC Software and software updates on workstations and portable systems
  • Telephone / Cell phone configuration and support including move / additions / changes
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Preferred skills:
  • Manufacturing execution system (MES) experience
  • SQL server administration and SQL query creation experience
  • Programmable logic controller (PLC) troubleshooting and administration
  • Symbol Barcode Scanner configuration and support
  • Zebra Barcode Printer Support

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment
  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
  • working weekends
