Senior java developer | DevOps & CI/CD

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong DevOps and CI/CD experience to join a leading financial institution in Belgium.

This role is ideal for a developer who combines solid Java engineering expertise with a passion for automation, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications

Build and enhance REST APIs and microservices

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines

Automate deployments and improve software delivery processes

Work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders

Contribute to cloud-native and containerized solutions

Ensure high standards of security, scalability, and performance in a regulated financial environment

5-10 years of experience in Java development

Strong experience with:

• Java 11/17+
• Spring Boot
• Microservices
• REST APIs
• SQL Databases

Hands-on DevOps experience with:

• Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
• Docker
• Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Git
• SonarQube
• Nexus/Artifactory

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Excellent communication skills in English
