Job description

  • Develop and review network security architectures and designs
  • Provide consultancy on various network security related topics
  • Provide operational support for firewall changes approvals
  • Collaborate with various platform and application engineering teams, share knowledge and provide network security guidance and advice
  • Conduct network security design reviews for internal projects, platforms applications
  • Participate in automation efforts to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention in network security operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives
  • Leverage data analytics and data science techniques to derive insights and optimize automation processes
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver automation solutions effectively

  • Develop and review network security architectures and designs

  • You have been part of firewall change approval board
  • Collaborate with various platform and application engineering teams, share knowledge and provide network security guidance and advice
  • Conduct network security design reviews for internal projects, platforms applications
  • Participate in automation efforts to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention in network security operations
  • At least 5 years of experience with enterprise firewalling with activities as deploying, configuring and managing next-gen firewalls
  • Proven experience in threat profiles managing, TLS inspection and know the concepts of virtual patching
  • Knowledge of security architecture, with emphasis on Zero Trust, SASE models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives
  • Leverage data analytics and data science techniques to derive insights and optimize automation processes
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver automation solutions effectively
  • Together with the team and product owner plan and refine the team’s product increments

You’ll join the CISO department, which connects client, bank, and societal interests through information security. With about 500 global staff, CISO ensures the bank’s security and pursues innovative solutions in a fast-changing, international environment. The office is in Amstelveen near Amsterdam, and English is the main language. Within CISO, the Cyber Defence department has around 150 employees across 7 sub-departments.
