IT Asset Manager

Lift Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing development of an enterprise IT Asset Management function.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a large, complex IT environment, taking ownership of hardware and software asset governance while helping shape best practice across the organisation.

The Role

As the IT Asset Management Specialist, you’ll lead the implementation, configuration and administration of an enterprise IT Asset Management platform, ensuring hardware, software and cloud assets are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle.

Working closely with IT, Procurement, Finance and Information Security teams, you’ll help deliver accurate asset data, software licence compliance, reporting and governance while driving continual improvement across IT Asset Management processes., * Lead the implementation and configuration of an IT Asset Management platform (ServiceNow ITAM or similar)

• Manage hardware, software and cloud assets throughout their lifecycle
• Maintain accurate asset records and ensure data integrity
• Manage software licensing, compliance and reconciliation
• Produce reports and dashboards to support business decision making
• Support audits and ensure compliance with IT governance
• Work closely with stakeholders across IT, Procurement and Finance
• Identify opportunities to optimise software licensing and reduce costs

We’re looking for someone with experience in IT Asset Management who enjoys improving processes and working with stakeholders across a large organisation.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

• ServiceNow ITAM (HAM/SAM) or a comparable ITAM platform
• Software licence management and compliance
• Hardware and software asset lifecycle management
• ITIL best practice
• Asset reporting and dashboard creation
• Stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
• IT asset governance and continuous improvement

Experience of delivering an ITAM implementation project would be highly advantageous.

• £250-£350 per day (depending on experience)
