Contract IT Field Technician (1099)

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, and other office technology
• Perform workstation deployments, equipment replacements, and office technology installations
• Assist with basic network installations and troubleshooting, including switches, routers, wireless access points, structured cabling, DHCP, and IP addressing
• Perform cable management and maintain clean, professional installations
• Follow guidance from remote engineers while providing detailed updates, photographs, and documentation in our system
• Respond to scheduled client visits and occasional urgent support requests
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Graffeo Technology Services professionally

Graffeo Technology Services is seeking a reliable, professional Contract IT Field Technician to provide on-site support for our business clients throughout South Florida. This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, ideal for an experienced technician looking for flexible project-based work rather than a full-time position., * Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, or field technician experience

• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties
• Ability to safely lift and move standard IT equipment
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently, * CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience
• Experience working with small and medium-sized business environments
• Familiarity with networking, structured cabling, and business technology deployments

Equipment Requirements

Contractors should have:

• Reliable laptop
• Basic IT toolkit
• Cable tester
• Smartphone with camera and internet access, * IT support or field technician: 2 years (Required)
