Solutions Engineer Team Lead

As a Solutions Engineering Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams delivering AI-powered applications across a range of complex projects. You’ll work closely with customers, internal stakeholders and engineering teams to define solutions, oversee delivery and ensure technical excellence throughout the development lifecycle., * Lead, mentor and develop a team of Solutions Engineers and technical specialists * Work directly with customers to understand business challenges and define technical solutions * Drive architecture and technical decision making across multiple projects * Oversee delivery from discovery and proof of concept through to production deployment * Collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams to ensure successful outcomes * Help establish best practices, standards and delivery processes * Support hiring and team growth as the organisation continues to scale * Champion the adoption of AI technologies and modern engineering approaches

This is not a traditional engineering management position. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a consultative mindset and a solid technical foundation., * Previous experience leading technical teams within a software, consultancy or scale-up environment * Strong background in solutions architecture, technical consulting or customer-facing delivery * Software engineering background with experience in Python or similar technologies * Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions * Experience delivering modern software platforms and applications * Passion for emerging technologies, AI and innovation, * Generative AI, LLMs or AI-powered applications * Agent frameworks, RAG or knowledge-based systems * Containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes * Experience working within regulated industries * Building and scaling technical teams
