This is an exciting opportunity for a Security Consultant who enjoys solving complex security challenges, influencing large-scale programmes and working with cutting-edge technologies. - Provide security consultancy across complex business and technology initiatives
- Advise clients on security frameworks and compliance requirements including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and PCI-DSS
- Conduct security risk assessments and identify appropriate mitigations
- Support threat modelling and secure solution design activities
- Identify vulnerabilities within system architectures and communicate risks effectively
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver secure outcomes
- Research emerging threats, technologies and security best practices
Requirements
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance and risk management
- Experience applying security technologies within architecture and solution design
- Knowledge of areas such as IAM, PAM, SSO, network security and encryption
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, solution architecture and design methodologies
- Experience with threat modelling and security architecture frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to solve complex security challenges and adapt to new technologies
- Passion for improving security outcomes across critical sectors
Desirable Experience
- Hands-on experience with cloud security and/or network security
- Security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA or equivalent
- Current Security Clearance (SC, DV etc.) or ability to obtain clearance
- Experience working within public sector, government or defence environments
