• Provide security consultancy across complex business and technology initiatives
• Advise clients on security frameworks and compliance requirements including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and PCI-DSS
• Conduct security risk assessments and identify appropriate mitigations
• Support threat modelling and secure solution design activities
• Identify vulnerabilities within system architectures and communicate risks effectively
• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver secure outcomes
• Research emerging threats, technologies and security best practices

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance and risk management
• Experience applying security technologies within architecture and solution design
• Knowledge of areas such as IAM, PAM, SSO, network security and encryption
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, solution architecture and design methodologies
• Experience with threat modelling and security architecture frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to solve complex security challenges and adapt to new technologies
• Passion for improving security outcomes across critical sectors

Desirable Experience

• Hands-on experience with cloud security and/or network security
• Security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA or equivalent
• Current Security Clearance (SC, DV etc.) or ability to obtain clearance
• Experience working within public sector, government or defence environments
