Job description
As a Security Consultant, youâll play a key role in designing and advising on secure technology solutions across complex environments. Youâll work closely with technical teams, architects and senior stakeholders to ensure security is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle., * Designing security architectures for complex IT and digital transformation programmes.
- Providing cyber security advice across large-scale technology initiatives.
- Advising on regulatory and security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and PCI-DSS.
- Conducting security risk assessments and communicating risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identifying vulnerabilities within solution architectures and recommending appropriate mitigations.
- Supporting secure-by-design principles across cloud, infrastructure and enterprise technologies.
- Researching emerging threats and innovative security solutions.
Requirements
Weâre looking for someone with a strong technical security background who enjoys solving complex challenges and working with clients.
Youâll ideally have experience with:
- Cyber security principles, governance and risk management.
- Security architecture and secure solution design.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), network security and encryption technologies.
- Threat modelling and reference architecture development.
- Cloud and/or network security.
- Working within large enterprise or public sector environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable certifications:
- CISSP
- SABSA
- Or equivalent industry-recognised security certifications., Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC). Full British nationality and five yearsâ continuous UK address history are required.
