Entry Level Computer/Network Technician

We are looking for a part time computer technician to work both at a local computer repair store, and as mobile IT support for small businesses. This is a customer service position as well as technical service position. There will be a lot of communication with the customers and businesses to gather information about problems, get approval to do the work, and describe the problem and/or repair process. There will be a variety of computer repair and other technical support, all the necessary tools will be supplied, including a company van for on-site repairs as needed. A paid training period is provided with supervised hands-on learning.

The technical know-how can be taught as long as there is a good basis of basic I.T. Knowledge. The training period will be approximately 2 months in-shop, and then approximately 2 months mobile with a supervisor. The initial training pay is reduced to $14.00 per hour. Once training is complete the base pay for this job is $15 per hour with potential for growth. The shifts are flexibly scheduled around your availability in advance, you must be available for a minimum of three, preferably more, shifts per week (24-40 hours per week) each shift is 10am to 6pm on Mondays through Fridays and 10am to 2pm Saturdays. You must also have a valid Drivers License for on-site work. Please inquire for more details.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 18 years of age or older

· Valid Drivers License

· Customer service oriented personality

· Interest or experience in information technologies

· High level of computer user skills
